We're bursting our parental buttons....

It has been an exciting morning at the Nichols house. Wesley has eagerly been anticipating playing drums with the church Praise Ensemble on a new song they've been working on, "Hosanna," and his teacher, Larry, said this was the week that he would get to do it. When we arrived early for rehearsal, Wesley was excited to find that he was invited to play the entire worship service, because the regular drummer was gone. Woo hoo, time to step up to the plate!

And step up to the plate he did! He did all the songs, some of which Larry was guiding him on as they were playing them. He did a terrific job and we are tickled to see him share his God-given gifts with others.

The drummer at work, sorry it's blurry!

Mom went to the "Hope Unseen" book kick-off last night, and it included Phillips, Craig, and Dean performing their awesome praise music. If you don't know Revelation Song, check it out below. Now imagine several thousand people with their hands raised, singing it together. Beyond awesome!

And just because it's totally silly, check out the fun we had at Dairy Queen the other night :)
