Hunting, of course! The fearless hunters (Dad and Cam) headed out last weekend for the Athena hunt, along with a sizable group of fellow bird-killers. The star of the show was Angus, who has shown himself to be a pointing Laborador. Yes, it's true. He finds the bird in the brush, freezes with his nose pointing at it, waits for Will to come up within range, and only when told "OK" will he flush the bird so the troops can get it. Cool!
Will with long-time friend and hunting partner Bret Stillwell, along with Angus and Maggie.
The Nichols upland hunting team. Wesley isn't so fond of walking up and down canyons and across wheat stubble fields for 8 hours at a time, so he usually stays home for these hunts :) He's looking forward to duck season, where sitting in a duck blind is more the thing.
