The boys (all three of them) just returned from a fantastic, awesome, and cool week at Camp Baldwin for Boy Scout Camp. Thus ended mom's full six days of alone-ness :) Well, she had the dog, three cats, two tanks of fish, and a vivarium (which she had to put live crickets into each night, eeeeew!) to keep her company.

This is what Mom affectionately calls, "The Packing O' the Crap." There is so much stuff that accompanies this group to camp :)

Does Will's truck look like it can hold anything more??

Wesley at his patrol's campsite. They stayed in wall tents and cooked in their patrol (6-8 boys per group).

Cameron on his first day of horsemanship. He was practicing tying the knot to use when tying his horse to a post.

Cameron (in red) and Sheldon getting ready for windsurfing class. Ooooh that was very popular in the Nichols' house.

Dad getting ready for windsurfing class too! He really enjoyed it! Used some muscles that he didn't know he had too :)

Cameron (front) and Sheldon during their class. Dad says they did a great job.

Dad in a stand-up moment.

Dad in a non-stand-up moment. He said he had a lot of these :)

Wesley really enjoyed his basketry class. He earned the basketry merit badge at camp.

Wesley practicing lifesaving methods (he's in green swim trunks on the dock using the pole to "rescue" another scout). He passed his BSA Swimmer test without blinking an eye. He and Dad were a little worried about it, but BAM it was easy!

Cameron on one of his horses. He absolutely loved caring for an riding the horses.

Polar Bear Club! Dad did it first, then Cameron (somewhere in the picture) did it too.

The special Polar Bear patch for those brave souls who get up at 6 am and jump into freezing water.

The "Goose" food delivery truck arrived twice daily and the boys had to pick up their own food crates. All cooking was done in the patrol camps, no big dining hall at this camp.

Check out Wesley's feet! Eeeww! Mom said, "Straight to the shower and please don't touch anything along the way!" When asked if he showered at camp, Wesley replies with that DUH, eyeball rolling voice, "Mooooom, I took one shower during the week!" Another eeewww. "Mom, I also had three dips in the lake." When asked to elaborate on this, Mom learned that the dips lasted approximately 1-2 minutes each. No wonder his feet were black! Dad assures me that everyone at least changed underwear every day. Socks were apparently another matter...

Meet Cameron's Electric Blue Lobster, "Larry." We promised to show Nanni some pix of the blue lobster because she didn't know blue ones existed :)

Many of you have been hearing about the Nichols boy's LEGO city that has taken over the dining table during summer. Oh well, we only use the table at holidays anyway :) Check out below for some pix of the ever-evolving city.
