Here comes Halloween, and this year we got the pumpkins carved more than 2 hours before trick-or-treating! Last night was a blast, pumpkin guts everywhere, creative designers making interesting faces, and poor dad headed out to a meeting part-way through the evening :)

The kittens got in the act, rifling through the spilled markers and bits of pumpkin. The dogs and the kittens loved eating whatever scraps fell on the floor ?! Heck, less mess for mom to clean up.
Wesley was a master carver this year. He had a really good time creating his masterpiece.

Doesn't he look like he's having too much fun with that knife? Good thing he has his Scout Whittlin' Chip so we know he's safe :)
