The boys have discovered the secret to enjoying this camp - mosquito netting! Yes, the mosquitos are a huge problem at night if you don't have protection, and there is only so much DEET in the world. So Will has equipped Nichols' men with mosquito nets, and Wesley reports they slept fine!
Wesley knew Mom would appreciate this photo, the hand sanitizer "washing" station at the dining hall. Cleanliness is next to Godliness I always say...p.s. as soon as I first posted this and showed it to Wesley, he tells me that the handwashing station only showed up for the last meal on the last day!!!! What kind of camp is this???? A camp full of 8-11 year old BOYS! Do they wash often? No? Aaack!
Fishing, fishing, fishing, Wesley can never get enough...
Archery! Every Cub Scout loves this part of camp (BB guns too).
The Trading Post, one of Wesley's favorite places in camp because they have popsicles on hot days...
Wesley and Dad enjoyed some games of Cribbage in between activities.
Crafts, crafts, crafts. This year's theme was Pirates, so the matey's built treasure chests.
