Fishing (and stuff)

We'll start with the "stuff" first :)

Pool time! Mom promised she would NEVER get another backyard pool, but she caved, and everyone is having a great time. The boys enjoyed filling it up, and they've had friends join them several times.

Cameron tried his hand at something new this past week, ICE BLOCKING. The YB's mid-high youth group from church goes ice blocking down Charmichael Hill in Richland. He thought it was fun, but a bit weird. I think sledding would be more popular :)

Drop the ice, fold a towel, sit your bum on the towel, lift up your feet and hands, and go!

Aaaaah, fishing! And ahhhhh, mom gets the weekend to herself at home! The boys headed out to the Tucannon River this weekend for a few days of rough camping (Dad said there WAS a pit toilet - ugh). Wesley enjoyed relaxing in camp.

The tent came in handy when the misquitos decided to have a Cameron snack...

The fish were really biting. Dad was worn out running between the boys, helping get fish off of hooks etc.

After awhile they decided to fly fish so it was easier to do catch-and-release.

Ta da! There's nothing like a good morning of fishing.

The day was so hot and uncomfortable that the guys headed off to the fish hatchery, something that is always popular.

Cameron loved the fish stepping stones. We think we need to get some for our house!

The second fisherman like the stepping stones too :)

Playing card games in camp, something we all love to do.

Mmmmm, guess what Dad and Wesley had for breakfast today?

As you can tell, they came home Saturday night. It was hot, stormy, and uncomfortable, so they headed to Waitsburg for pizza, then home. Everyone slept in this morning, and we're enjoying a beautiful day at home.
