Dad and Cameron led a Cub Scout overnight trip to Polouse Falls last weekend. The boys worked on their Geology and Outdoorsman pins. Signe went along and taught the Geology portion.
It was a long, dusty hike down the hill to the base of the Falls, but it was a longer hike back up!
Everyone enjoyed playing in the water during the hike. Dad laments that he has some "talent" for picking the hottest weekend of the season to do Scout camps. It was over 100 degrees!
Cameron did an admirable job on breakfast!
Crawdads! Mom was disappointed that they didn't bring her any, "thems good eatin'!"
