First Camping Trip of the Season!

We took our first camping trip of the season this past weekend, though from the pictures below you would never know we camped! We went to Memaloose State Park and saw some of the sights around that area. A big attraction was the Discovery Center at The Dalles. We were very impressed with this place, there was LOTS to do and see.

Check out the huge carved sturgeon.


The boys got a kick out of the windsurfing board. In Cameron's picture you can see the TV screen set up near the board. It projected your image onto a rolling video taken from a windboard on the river. Very cool!




Wesley dug for treasure in the archaeology area.



The boys loaded their cargo onto Lewis and Clark's boat, trying to carefully balance the load...
