Beach time! Woo hoo! We just got back from a week at Lincoln City, thanks to Uncle Dan and Aunt Cheryl for letting us stay at their new beach house. We went "toe freezing" and thought of my grandmother. All us kids LOVED to toe freeze with Wyma!
Wesley making "pooter castles" in the sand.
You're never too old for sand castles/excavating/burying other people in the sand :)
To say that Angus loves playing in the surf would be a HUGE understatement.
Oh, oh, oh, Ainslee's salt water taffy co. also makes white chocolate dipped doggy bones! Who is the lucky dog??
A great afternoon at the Hatfield Marine Sciences Center, always a favorite.
Another favorite, MO's!! Oh yeah baby...
Cam and mom took a behind the scenes tour at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. It even included going up above Keiko's tank which is now the shark tunnel tanks! Oooh there were no railings up there, how interesting!
The tour's main purpose was to interact with the octopus. How amazing! We got to feed him as well.
Sooo cool, the octopus was very inquisitive and wanted to touch each person's hand.
We also got to feed the fish in one of the big tanks. We learned that they capture the senior citizen rock fish for these tanks, and they are really very quiet and tame. They will take fish from your hand.
Kids bowl free in the summer! A great way to spend an afternoon.
And Cameron gets his very own saxophone! We promised that if he played all through middle school and committed to band in high school, then he could get his own instrument. It's beautiful!
Wallowa Lake! And cousins! We had a great time at a mini-family reunion. Sara and Cam loved lunch at the Embers Brew Pub.
These are some of the strange relatives we spent the week with! Seriously, the kids had WAY too much fun with the Photo Booth app on my iPad. Check 'em out. This is my mom.
And my dad..
Brother in law Bill.
Cousin Megan (who liked Photo Booth the very best!)
Me and dad after dinner in town.
Woo hoo, Michelle went to the top of Mt. Howard, up the tram! Swore I'd never do that, but miracles do happen. The ticket proves it.
Heh heh heh, Bubba gets prepared to watch the boys on the bumper boats.
Shoot out!
Nanni and the boys hanging out after mini golf.
I got some really cool pix of the kids playing cards one night by lantern light.
Relay for Life the day school got out in June. Our troop set up the luminaries and had a walking team. It was a blast as usual!
