The reason for this momentous update? Why the family spring break trip to San Diego, of course! If you've been following our trip on Facebook you will have seen a couple of these pix, otherwise most stuff will be new. Check it out!
Getting ready to board our plane in Pasco bound for Seattle. We learned one interesting piece of trivia on this trip: Wesley gets airsick. We discovered this little tidbit when we were about 1/2 way to Seattle on a bumpy ride, a ride so bumpy that the crew warned us before takeoff that there would be no cabin service because their trip from Seattle to Pasco had been rocky, and the return trip was expected to be the same. Oh joy. Thankfully Wes never "lost it," and the newsstand in Seattle stocks Dramamine :o) He can, however, psych himself up about it very nicely.
Sunday was SEAWORLD! It was supposed to be sleep-in-and-bum-around-San Diego day, but our hotel was almost within walking distance of SeaWorld and once Cameron found that out, we were out the door.
Petting a hedgehog named "Hodgepodge" - prickly!
Wes entertained himself while Cam and Dad were in an exhibit.
Monday was.... wait.... for..... it.......
Yes, it's LEGOLand!
Wesley considers this place to be the Mecca of his life, and he made the most of it. We got there when they opened at 10 am, we left 1/2 hour before closing at 5 pm. Holy cow, I thought the boys had a lot of LEGO's...
Yes, it was Las Vegas in LEGO miniature! Dad just groaned...
The boys had a blast driving LEGO tugboats on a lake. Great fun.
Snort, I thought the bathroom signs at LEGOLand were so funny I had to get a pic.
A very cool LEGO Egyptian thingy.
The Bionicle Blast ride - the only one Wes went on :o)
My three brainiacs with their hero...
Then it was off to the building/testing facility where everyone built their own racers and ran them down a timed track.

We had to get a picture under the Brick Bros. sign, we've called the boys by this name for many years :o)
Tuesday was an "extra" for us, we didn't think we'd have time for the zoo but since we'd done one day at SeaWorld already, we decided to hit the zoo.
Tram ride! Michelle even went on the tram, something she said she would never do. And she even looked down! And she was forced to make the return trip!
Goofing around in the polar bear exhibit.
Then it was back to SeaWorld on Wednesday and time for Mom and Cam's much anticipated adventure, swimming with the dolphins! Yeah, the wet suit was fun...
Aaack, Michelle kissed a dolphin! His name was Crunch and he was the gentlest, coolest animal ever. Very patient, very sweet, very personable.
Cam got to hug Crunch!
My picture of Wesley taking a picture of the Orcas at the Shamu show.
The Shamu show rocked!
Back home, Satie was happy to have us return. It was an awesome trip and we feel very blessed that God gave us the health, the funds, and the idea to take off for the week.
