Busy days are again upon us, thankfully it's not as busy as during the Fall! Cameron got to go skiing this past weekend, something he looks forward to every year. He is a total natural, from the point he stepped on skis he has simply taken off. He did have a small chair lift mishap, but it didn't deter him :)
They lucked out, there had been lots of rain in the mountains but the day they went there was snow all day and the rain only started as they left. Woo hoo!
You can see how slushy the area is. Cameron said the snow had been graded and was a little icy, which made it difficult to stop. He went with Mark and Signe and the kids.

And it is Happy Birthday Gauge! We celebrated his 9th birthday with mini-cupcakes and party hats. Silly!
Honestly, the cupcake was on the plate when I started taking the picture! Snacks don't last long in front of Gauge...
The boys decided their cats needed to get in the party spirit. Can you just see that party enthusiasm in Sadie's eyes (what you can see of them)?
Zoey looks pretty amused too...
