We are thankful...

We recently returned from a fun time in Eugene, visiting family for Thanksgiving. It was a busy few days!

We started off with a birthday party for Megan, who turned 11 a few days before we arrived.

The kids decorated cupcakes for everyone, and Wesley really enjoyed his!

Angus was just a little excited with all the new people around, so he and Dad took a break for quiet time :)

Opening presents!

The next day was Thanksgiving, and Cameron decided to share the fun of his Charlie Brown Thanksgiving feast with Wesley, Sara, and Megan.

The next night we celebrated Christmas because we won't see this side of the family in December. We bought Bubba a very special book at the OSU Bookstore! He loved it so much!

Wesley loves having Christmas early - makes it stretch out for nearly a month!

The cousins and Michael had a great time opening gifts.

We have so much to be thankful for - family, friends, jobs, a roof over our heads, our church family, safe travels, and the challenges that we face. But most importantly we are thankful that God loved us to much that he sent Jesus to us, and we get to celebrate his arrival for the next few weeks! We hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving, and that your Advent season will be peaceful, and focused on the arrival of the beautiful baby in the manger.
