Relay for Life and other great things!

Busy, busy, busy days :) Here's what we've been up to...

Check out Mr. 4.0 GPA - again. He also got a kick out of the cookie bouquet that his teacher gave Mom for her volunteer work this year. Cameron also kicked academic hiney, honor roll all three trimesters! Both boys had perfect attendance all year, so I think we can say it was a healthy school year!

Cameron, Dad, and the guys from Boy Scout Troop 148 put together a team for the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. Last year the Troop laid out the luminaria for the event as a service project, and the boys decided that this year they wanted to have a walking team. So they baked goodies, held a bake sale and car wash, and raised $807! Then starting Friday night they walked...

We donated/decorated luminaria for Fishin' Grandma, Aunt Dot, and G.G.

The boys on their final lap around the track Saturday morning.

The whole gang. Mom came down for a visit Friday night, and decided that next year she'll join the fun too. It was also nice to visit with our friends, the Goodwins, who's son Aidan (Wesley's friend) gets to wear a "Survivor" shirt because he beat Leukemia a few years ago!
