Vrrroooooom!

Woo hoo hoo, the minivan days are behind us! Yes, Michelle said she would never get a van, then she caved (and liked it!) for almost eight years, but NOW we have moved on to a more sporty vehicle for the mom-around-town.

The family and the cool new car. It's a Honda CRV with leather and a moon roof (?!). Mom negotiated the entire deal herself (now that is trust on Will's part) and we drove it away last Saturday.

We've been keeping the car a secret so we could surprise Nanni and Bubba who arrived yesterday for a long weekend. They were definitely surprised!

The boys opened their birthday gifts from the Eugene family last night. They were delighted with VISA gift cards from the Cornells. "We've never had REAL visa cards before!" they proclaimed this morning as they made detailed plans on where to spend it. Look out world when they get REAL visa cards...

The LOVED the gummy candies and rolls of dollar coins from the Gauches. Thus the struggle: to spend the cool coins, or hoard them...

Getting some snuggles in with Nanni.

Before we took this picture, Bubba asked the boys if they had some plastic eggs :) For the context of that question, see below from April, 2003...

We hope you have a great weekend, we certainly plan to!
