Klondike Derby 2009

A new experience for Cameron - snow camping! This was his first Klondike Derby an overnight snow camp with some fun snow-based competitions and lots of hot cocoa.

Patrol Leader Cameron picking up the score card at the beginning of the Tundra Trail. It's a 10 station race where the boys complete tasks (building a fire and cooking a pancake, using first aid, tying knots, etc.)

They had a blast, Cameron's face is pink from sun exposure (at least they had sun, Mom and Wesley had gray skies at home!). They're already looking forward to next year.
