Why yes, math IS really cool! Cameron and Dad (yea for Hanford off-fridays!) headed out on a whirlwind trip to Wenatchee and back yesterday for the "Math Is Cool" regional competition.
In honor of the day, and to ensure Cameron had a good brain-food breakfast before the competition, we created mathematical pancakes for breakfast.

The entire group of Highlands math whizzes hanging out. They took 13 kids plus parents and Mrs. Nunn, Math Club teacher.
Inside the classroom. This was Cameron's first experience with this competition, he thought it was fun because it was just like a game show (buzzer). McDonald's on the way home was fun too :)
