This-n-That

We've been busy these days, even without spring sports!

The First Pres All-Scout Picnic (renamed such because it's not only cub scouts anymore, with Dad leading the boy scout troop!) was held last week at the park. We huddled in jackets and only the bravest of kids went in the water, but we had a terrific time. Wesley and his buds dined on fried chicken and all the picnic fixin's (before their plates blew away).


Cameron and Joe made Coca Cola Cake for the group dessert. It took longer than expected to bake in the dutch oven, but everyone said it was delicious.


Wesley has been on a LEGO building mission the past week or so. This is one of his creations.


Cameron has had several school-related picnics, field trips, concerts, 5th grade graduation breakfasts, etc. this past week. This was the picnic in the park on Wednesday. The weather was a little warmer, so he braved the fountains.

Only one more week (plus one snow day make-up) are left in the school year, and thus in Cameron's elementary career. Can you believe it? We're all looking forward to summer vacation, when Mom stops going into the office, we can sleep in, the days are free to play, and brothers can snip and crab at each other, um, I mean, we can all have fun! Woo hoo!
