Holy cow, we got a big winter storm on saturday night and sunday morning, two inches of freezing rain topped by eight inches of snow! We packed it in, stayed home from church, ventured out later in the day to grocery shop and go ice skating, and otherwise enjoyed lots of family time. School was cancelled on Monday and Tuesday, and the boys were not amused at having to get up for school on Wednesday!
The boys were in heaven :) It started snowing around 6 am, and didn't stop until 7 pm on sunday. Our yard has snow forts, snow mountains, stacked snowballs, and snow traps all over it!
Sliding down the driveway hill on you face was the favorite activity of the day...
Sledding was fun too, but the boys are getting too heavy to pull around!
