The Great White Hunters

Will and Cameron just returned from a great father-son hunting weekend with the guys. As you can see below, they had a FANTASTIC time. Angus was also delighted with the activity. We were glad to have our friend, Bret Stillwell, stay an extra night so we can visit and catch up.
The hunters in the field. According to Will, Angus is doing a wonderful job, and even figured out what his nose is for (beyond sniffing people's privates).

This is a dog who loves his job. He retrieved most of these birds. He was competing with Lane, Lucky, and Zoe, the three yellow labs who go on this trip each year.

Cameron was a blur most of the weekend. However, after walking more than 5 miles up and down canyons yesterday, Dad says Cameron slept "very well" last night :)

Going through the paces and the stubble fields. They hunted near Athena this weekend.

Taking a break on a canyon slope. This is hard work...

"Roughing it" at lunchtime.

Cameron really enjoys going on this trip each year. He can't wait until he is allowed to shoot!
