Family Communion

Congratulations to Wesley for completing the Family Communion class at church. In our church's tradition, 2nd graders and their families are invited to participate in an evening of activities and lessons about Holy Communion. Then each family celebrates communion together, and from that point onward the kids take communion during worship. It is a very special evening for everyone. This year Mom and Cameron stayed home with Emma, who had a fever, and Dad and Wesley went to Family Communion. As you can see, they had a great time.

Wesley and his friends, Brayden and Taylor tell everyone about the poster they made that shows what Jesus means to them.

During the evening, Wesley wrote down a prayer from his heart:

"Jesus is my savior, the Lord Almighty God, who created this world, died but rose again. Here is one thing, if you believe in the Lord, you shall not parish, but have eternal life forever. Amen"

We are so blessed, with our sons, our church, our friends, and our Savior :)
