Science Camp is Awesome!

Well, it was a long and sometimes tiring week, but Cameron had the time of his life at the WSU-TC Summer Science Camp. The camp was entitled "K'Nex Robot Factory" and they built robots, along with lots of other things. There were physics lessons galore, and he brought home lots of interesting experiments and manipulatives.

One of his best friends from school was there, and there were several friends from church who attended as well. He even made a couple of new friends during the week. On Friday it was "Big Event Day," where parents got to come and see what the kids had been working on. The kids also got to race their robots in several contests. It was a great time!

Cameron and the other competitors lined up to have their robots drag a "trailer" loaded with metal washers in the strength competition.

The last station was a game of air basketball, a lesson in leverage.

Cameron's robot won his "wrestling match" against the other guys.

Cameron also won his speed race!
