Cookies and Carpet

Merry Christmas (almost)! Cameron undertook baking stained glass window cookies for his Boy Scout party tonight, and holy cow did he have a blast.

Wesley joined in the fun, grinding up Lifesavers to make the candy for the windows.


And it's on to carpet! Yes, thankfully the new carpet arrived on the truck from Spokane this morning and is now being installed. Wesley did one final walk across the cheap carpet pad before it was torn out.

The new carpet! It's like walking on marshmallows compared to the old one.


It looks nice next to the new wood floor!

Now I'm wondering how long it will take a dog or cat to barf on it? My bet is about 1.2 hours...
