Newest Family Members

Gulp....meet the newest members of the Nichols' household - "Sir Fig Isaac Newton" the Firebellied Newt, and "????" the Green Tree Frog. Yes, Cameron now has more critters in his bedroom, and we have been joking about what his house will contain when he grows up and moves out :)

Cam and the cool vivarium - a terrarium with water in the bottom (a mix of aquatic and non-aquatic environments, perfect for amphibians). For those of you familiar with Will's rule of "no reptiles, no rodents," and Michelle's emphatic "no arachnids (spiders)," you will note that Cameron has narrowly passed the parental animal species test with these guys.


The tree frog (still to be named) is only about the size of an adult thumb. He is pretty cute.


The newt loves the new tank, and immediately headed to the water. Check out his red tummy.

And the bet part (NOT!)???? They eat live meals, so we have a container of crickets in the house too! Oy!
