Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

It's the most exciting night of the year, Easter Eve! We like this night because tomorrow we get to say, "He is RISEN!" Easter preparations began tonight with the annual egg dying spectacular.

Wesley helped prepare the counter with about an inch of newspaper :) and we got going.

A wax crayon made cool designs on the eggs before we dropped them in the color.

Cameron gave sponging a try (too much HGTV perhaps?).

Our egg kit had tattoos (for the eggs) included, so we gave it a shot.

The finished masterpieces. We only dyed 12 eggs so the Easter Bunny wouldn't have too many to hide, thus lowering the risk of missing a hidden one that starts to smell after a few days...

In other news, Mom and Dad got a new bed too, a KING size airbed! Woo hoo! Mom's wanted this for years. Dad, however, is mourning the loss of his queen size bed. Why? We don't know! All Mom's Battelle hours paid off big this weekend! The boys helped fill the beds for us.
