Wesley has entered the realm of braces :) On Wednesday he had a "quad helix" put on, which will correct his crossbite and make room for more of his adult teeth to come in. It was a challenging process :) he has a small mouth and isn't a real fan of having people poke their fingers in it, but we got through. You really can't see the bands on his teeth when he smiles, they are on the sides and he has an arch wire across the roof of his mouth. We're working on eating without worrying about food getting caught in the wires. There's been lots of drinkable yogurt and instant breakfast being consumed here the last couple of days! The shocking thing is that we can already see significant movement in his front teeth, something the orthodontist said was important. It will all be worth it...
