Mom's Been Slackin'...

Mom's been a little delinquent in the blog-posting business these days, so here is a general mish-mash of things we've been doing lately!

A key part of Cub Scouts is service to others, so we put our words into action and our Pack cleaned up the grounds of the local food bank. We pulled weeds, raked grass and leaves, moved silted dirt, swept up, and generally left the place sparkling!

Cameron, Dad, and Signe made a preview trip to Polouse Falls last weekend to locate a good camping site for our Webelos to use next month. Signe is going to be teaching the boys about Geology on their overnight excursion. Cameron enjoyed checking out the terrain.

Our "little sister" Emma turned one at Eastertime, and we enjoyed watching her open her birthday presents from us. We couldn't go to her party because we were visiting family, so we gave her the gift early. We veggie'd her out, with a Veggie Tales CD, DVD, and book. Her mom says they are great!

We went to Fishin' Grandma's house on Easter day for lots of goodies and visiting with family. Cameron played his guitar for everyone, and we had a great time!

Chef Wesley is a great help in the kitchen. We made the chef hats at Cub Scouts, during "Cub Cafe" month. Combined with his apron from Nanni, he's all set!
