We just returned from a very fun weekend visiting family in Oregon. The whole gang was there, Nanni and Bubba, Uncle Bill, Aunt Debi, Sara and Megan, Dan, Cheryl, and Michael, and Great Aunt Wanda. We had fun at our Thanksgiving Feast, and we celebrated Christmas with this side of the family since we won't see them in December. We also celebrated Megan's 8th birthday with a pizza party, and we all went and saw "Santa Clause 3" last night. It was a busy weekend, but we had a blast. Angus went along for the fun, but Molly bunked with her buddy Gauge here in town.
Megan, Cameron, and Wesley playing in the ball pit at Megan's pizza party.
Present time! Megan liked all her presents, we got her a Bratz Forever Diamondz.
Cameron and Wesley enjoyed spending time with Great-Great-Aunt Wanda. She is G.G.'s big sister.
On saturday afternoon the boys asked to see the school Mom went to when she was their age, so we dropped by Malabon Elementary. It was so fun to see how things have changed, and to share great memories with the boys. Wesley is swinging on the same swingset that Mom used when she was his age! It was in a different location 30 years ago though...
The boys played on the very same jungle gym that Mom played on as a kid. What a cool deal! They decided that they'd like to go to Mom's school :)
The trip to Malabon was capped off with a stop by the donut shop.
The kids were ANXIOUS to get to the Christmas presents!
On the whole trip eastward toward home we were in snowy conditions. Then things dried up when we were about an hour out, so we figured there wouldn't be any snow at home. Boy, were we wrong! As we crested the hill towards home we were socked with clouds, fog and SNOW! Not a lot, but enough to play in!
The first thing the boys wanted to do was get out the sled. Woo hoo, we hope we get more snow this year!
