First Day of School

Today was the first day of fourth and second grades for Cameron and Wesley. It's also the one year anniversary of Mom starting this blog! The boys both love their teachers, Cameron has waited anxiously to have Mr. Linn, "the coolest teacher in the school," for his very own, and Wesley is delighted to have Mrs. Nelson, who is also a member of our church.

Cameron proudly showed us his student planner, which will keep him organized and is teaching him great things about using time wisely. Wesley is excited to take his teddy bear, Gumdrop (the one Dad handmade for him), tomorrow as the kids are sharing something about themselves with the class.

Walking to school with our new neighbor, John, who is in 3rd grade. The boys and John are fast becoming inseperable. They've even discovered that if John goes to his parent's bedroom, and our boys go to Wesley's bedroom (the closest room to John's house), they can play games together on the Nintendo DS! They call each other on the phone too, I guess this is the beginning of Mom and Dad never being able to use the phone...
