Look out, here come more fish! Cameron has been saving for a salt water fish tank, something dear to his heart as he wants to be a Marine Biologist when he grows up. However, after additional reading and discussions with Signe, our resident expert on salt water tanks, we decided that we aren't up for the expense and advanced chemical knowledge (and lots of pure luck) needed to have a successful salt water experience. Somehow the idea of dead fish that cost $30-100 to replace just made us cringe.

So Dad and Cameron decided to take on a larger fresh water tank, perhaps something with semi-agressive fish that are bigger and more interesting than the small fish in our 5 gallon tanks. Sooooo, off to Aquatropics for a 50 gallon model (yes, you read that right). A large portion of Cameron's bedroom wall is now taken up with the new setup. It is extremely cool, even though it won't have fish for a couple of weeks as we develop the tank's bacteria and other necessary organisms.

Signe joined us for dinner last night, and was treated to seeing the new fish tank. She and Wesley enjoyed a game of tennis on the driveway after dinner. According to Signe, Wesley has good hand-eye coordination, and should enjoy tennis lessons later this year.
