What, you may ask, is up with the Nichols' seemingly insane desire to move furniture on Sundays? What happened to that directive from above that we should "rest" on the Sabbath??? Oh well, we had fun. It became clear over the past few weeks that Cameron needed a quiet place to do his homework, preferably in his room, and preferably on a desk of his own (of course his parents want to instill good study habits, so we figured we'd better get with the program). After looking all around town and a million places on the internet, we finally found "just what I always wanted" at Furniture Row today, and we were blessed that the chosen item was in stock. Cameron is now the proud owner of his own roll-top study desk, complete with Banker's Light desk lamp. Cool!

Being a studious person himself, Wesley also requested a desk to do his homework at. We were in luck in that department too, and Wes is now equipped to do his homework in his nice quiet bedroom.
The insane part came after we got the bedrooms done, when Will suggested we might like to move the great room around. Michelle, being the product of way too much HGTV, quickly said "Woo hoo, let's do it!" This is actually the first time in 19 years of marriage that we didn't argue about moving furniture. We figured there was some furniture-arguing gene that we both posessed, but today we put that myth to rest! We like the new arrangement, the first real change in the three years we've lived here.
