Well, the boys both made it, up until midnight for the first time! We went out for dinner at Casa Mia, then came home for a fun time playing cribbage, watching a documentary about volcanoes, and playing tons of games as a family (Cranium Conga, Monopoly, Apples to Apples). The best line of the night was spit out by Wesley: after the midnight toast he says "This is it? I stayed up for THIS???" I guess we aren't a very exciting group!
We rung in the new year with sparkling apple-grape cider, and watched fireworks from our front door as they went up over the Columbia River. We hope you all have a blessed new year!
