A Trip Down Memory Lane...

Yes, the boys discovered Mom's letterman's jacket from high school and decided to try it on! They also found my childhood teddy bear and have latched on to it in a big way. This all started when Mom bragged about her box full of swimming ribbons and medals, and the boys were doubtful that she really had such things. Hah, opening the cedar trunk cleared that doubt right up! But in the process we found tons of other treasures that had to be looked at, thus the jacket and bear. It was extremely fun, as they are really at an age where things from their parent's childhoods are fun to look at. They loved Dad's Alpha Sigma Phi wooden tomahawk, but it had to be put away when they couldn't resist chopping things with it (boys will be boys!).

Anybody recognize the village Wesley is playing with? It used to be in the window sill at G.G.'s house when Mom was a little kid. Another treasure discovered in Mom's cedar chest. It's so nice that the boys are old enough to enjoy some of these family heirlooms.
