A Blessed Christmas!

Glory to God in the highest, Jesus was born today! The Nichols family celebrated the Christ child's birth with a big party! Actually, we started last night by attending the family service at church. One of our awesome readers, Mr. Cameron, read the christmas story during what was a very fun celebration put together by Pastor Kriss. We had a live nativity, lots of great songs, kids portraying Mary, Joseph and the Angel, the kids singing "The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy," and lots more. We enjoyed visiting with friends, and seeing our friends new daughter from China get her first taste of an American Christmas.

At 6:15 this morning, Mom felt someone lean over her in bed and say to his brother, "I don't think they're awake yet!" Well, that's all we needed to get ourselves rolling out of bed and on to the party. As you can see, everyone had a wonderful time opening presents and playing with all the cool things.

The boys opening their present from Santa - the LEGO Hogwarts Castle, complete with all 618 pieces!

Setting out cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. Reindeer Angus munched some of them before the real reindeer got here...

Santa didn't forget the puppies either, as you can guess, they both had their "candycanes" destroyed in about 15 minutes.

Presents, presents, presents! Wesley really liked his Narnia gameboy game, and Cameron loved his Star Wars Attaktix figures.

Wesley got his own official Scout keepsake box. He plans to keep all of his most special Scout memorabilia in it.
